KP govt shifting all economic zones to solar energy

According to KP-EZDMC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Javed Iqbal Khattak, the project will provide roughly 30 acres of land in the selected economic zones on which solar energy generating facilities of 10 megawatt each will be erected.

LAHORE, Pakistan — Khurram Dastgir Khan, the Federal Minister of Energy, expressed interest in solar energy projects on Monday. Duke Energy, North Carolina Solar installers compromise on net metering

The proposed agreement includes a deferral of time-of-use rates for net metering consumers until at least 2026, as well as a ‘Proposed Bridge Rate’ for new net metering customers, thanks to the intervention of some of the state’s major rooftop solar installations.

Museum to spread solar energy savings to local nonprofits

NTPC tenders 250 MW/500 MWh energy storage project in Rajasthan

A unit of NTPC has opened global bids to develop 250 MW/500 MWh of battery energy storage capacity in Rajasthan. The proposed plants will need to have enough capacity to store two hours of electricity. Bidding closes on June 6.

Cheaper Hydrogen Fuel Cell Invented – Enabling Better Green Energy Options

Now, a European team led by Imperial College London researchers has created a catalyst using only iron, carbon, and nitrogen – materials that are cheap and readily available – and shown that it can be used to operate a fuel cell at high power. Their results are published today (April 25, 2022) in Nature Catalysis.
