Altamin (ASX:AZI), an Australian-listed energy company, continues to zero in on Italy’s untapped reservoir of strategic metals. In another exploration project, the company has set its eyes on twin exploration applications to open lithium production and geothermal power generation.

The factory, according to SolarEdge, is being built in response to rising demand for battery energy storage and will have a 2GWh annual production capacity when it fully ramps up in the second half of this year. Sella 2 is named after Guy Sella, the late founder and former CEO of SolarEdge.

Stuart Crow, chair of Lake Resources, stated western corporations and governments had failed to construct sufficient provide chains for lithium, making the sudden increase in electrical vehicle manufacturing unsustainable.There simply isn’t going to be enough lithium on the face of the planet, regardless of who expands and who delivers, it just won’t be there,” he stated.
