Vietnam has significant OWP potential – particularly in the south – with 475 gigawatts (GW) of technical potential within 200 kilometres of the coast. This is the largest such potential in Southeast Asia and equal to about six times Vietnam’s current installed power capacity.

The company would support the country’s transition to green energy by providing solutions for both the public and private sectors, its CEO Stanley Huang said at a press meeting Thursday.

VIETNAM currently boasts the most solar power of any South-east Asian nation today with 16.6 gigawatts of installed capacity as of 2020.
